Durham College Pipe Band
The Durham College Pipes and Drums has been a non-competitive teaching band which was established in February of 2005. This year (2023) we have decided to try our hand at competing at the Grade 5 level in three Highland Games: Georgetown, Cambridge and Fergus. The Grand Celtic Pipe Band made its debut performance in 2000. We are a diverse group of players, from young beginners to seasoned veterans, who focus on competitive pipe band performance, improving skills, and having fun.
