Edward VII (Albert Edward; 9 November 1841 – 6 May 1910) was King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India, from 22 January 1901 until his death in 1910.
Edward VII, whose full name was Albert Edward, was the eldest son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. He was born on November 09, 1841. Edward VII became the King of the United Kingdom and the British Empire after the death of his mother, Queen Victoria, in 1901. His reign, known as the Edwardian era, lasted until his own death in 1910.
Edward VII is often remembered for his role in modernizing the British monarchy and for his diplomatic efforts, which helped improve relations between the United Kingdom and other European powers. His reign marked a period of significant social and political change in the United Kingdom, and it was a transition from the Victorian era to the early 20th century.
