Gretta Bowen, also known as Greta Bowen, was an self taught Irish artist who was born in Dublin in 1880.
She only started painting late in life, after her sons Arthur and George Campbell were already established as artists.
She is known for her contributions to the world of art, particularly in watercolor painting. While she may not be as widely recognized as some other artists, her work and her artistic contributions have left a mark in the world of visual arts.
